    • What kinds of appliances can your company repair?
      At Atlantic Coast Appliance, our Jax repair technicians can handle virtually any kind of home appliance that you need help with. We frequently repair ovens, ranges, dryers, washers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers and more!     • What if my unit is under factory warranty?
      At Atlantic Coast Appliance, we do not handle factory warranty. You are responsible for an appliance under a warranty that was contracted with the manufacturer during your original purchase. We do, however, offer 90-day warranties on all of the parts and labor our company provides.
    • Does Atlantic Coast Appliance purchase any appliance, used or new?
      We cannot purchase any new or used home appliances. We can only provide repair services.
    • I would like to make an appointment, how do I schedule one?
      You can easily arrange for an appointment by contacting us online or calling us at any time. We are able to schedule an appointment within a two to three hour space of time. 15 to 30 minutes before your appointment time, we will give you a courtesy call to notify you that a technician will soon arrive at your home. Our staff is always available to provide you with any other information.
    • How are your prices determined?
      We determine our prices based on the Major Appliance Service National Price Guide. However, we always strive to offer our customers competitive prices, so we generally charge 15% lower than the standard rates. During your service call, we charge for diagnostic services and a price quote for the required repairs. We are happy to waive this fee if you decide to purchase an appliance repair from our technicians.
    • How do I know when it's time to get my appliance repaired?
      If you aren’t certain whether your appliance needs repairs or not, our technicians would be happy to assist you with running diagnostics. Our team is certified and we have over three decades of experience, during which we have repaired more than 100,000 appliances. After the diagnostic tests are complete, we can give you a written price quote. This will help determine if you need a repair, or if the appliance needs to be entirely replaced. In the case that the repair fees will exceed the price of purchasing a new appliance, we will inform you of the most cost-effective solution. If you choose to have our team repair your appliance, we will waive the service call fee for you.
    • Do I need to be at home and available for a call during my appointment?
      Yes. Our team of technicians is only allowed to come to your home if someone is present to let us in. This is why we require your presence during our appointment time. If you are unable to make it to the appointment, please notify us as soon as possible and we can reschedule the appointment for a more convenient time.
    • Is it possible for me to create an account for billing after service?
      We make use of billing accounts only with clients whom our company holds a longstanding history with. If you are interested in arranging for a billing account, your company is required to complete a credit application, which will in turn be approved by our billing department. If you have any further inquiries on this subject, please contact our team at any time and we will be happy to provide you with the answers you need.
    • Is it possible to have my appliance repaired on the same day as the service call?
      Our trucks are equipped with modern parts for all major home appliances. In the case that we do not readily have a part available in our inventory, another appointment will need to be scheduled. Most parts that must be ordered arrive within one to five business days.
    • If a technician must order a part and then return for repairs, will I be charged twice?
      Absolutely not, there will be not be any repeat charges in this case.
